The way of the sword has always been the path that Zoro has chosen. As it turns out, it might be for a reason. His ties to Wano run deep.
One Piece Chapter 1032 Review/Recap This is just something I’ve noticed from years of reading and watching One Piece that needs to be said. The closer an arc gets to … Continue Reading The Chaos is Reaching its Peak on Onigashima
Remember when Sanji started using that Germa Raid Suit, and how everyone thought that it was so cool? That may no longer be the case. On the one hand, it’s unlocked his latent super-soldier abilities. On the other hand, Sanji’s worried that it’s going to turn him into a psychopath like his brothers. As the fight for Wano reaches its climax, Sanji grapples with the notion that he’s becoming a soldier of science.
The Yonko and Orochi can try to resist the inevitable, but their reigns are over. The new generation of Yonko are about to rise to power.
emember how excited fans were when My Hero Academia got its first film? Some of the most elite Shonen series have made it onto the big screen over the years; it’s like an unofficial sign of greatness. Now, MHA has its film cinematic outing available in the US, World Heroes Mission, and it opens us up to the world of heroes beyond that of Japan. Unfortunately, the villain this time around is neither charismatic nor memorable like other villains.
presents hope, inspiration and renewed faith. The ever-famous World represents the end to a cycle of life and the start of something new. However, what’s most relevant to this chapter is the Tower. The Tower represents upheaval and change to the established order, and that’s what we are seeing. Wano is witnessing the fall of two Yonko and the birth of a new order.
Onigashima’s minutes away from falling on the Flower Capital. If Luffy can’t stop Kaido before then, the Flower Capital’s doomed. If Momonosuke can’t hold it up, it’s doomed. Meanwhile, the last of Kaido’s elite, King and Queen, are tooth and nail with Zoro and Sanji. However, something weird’s going on with Sanji right now. Also, Queen does…something that I can’t really explain.
so hard, he screamed! Then Luffy followed it up by clashing with him once more. Only this time, their punches split the heavens! As a result, the Mink Dukes managed to best Perospero and Jack. With so many of the Beast Pirates officers out of commission, we’re nearing the endgame to one of One Piece’s biggest arcs ever!
You know how a lot of religions and spiritual schools say that we shouldn’t hold a grudge and learn to forgive and move on? It’s simple in practice, but in reality, it’s a lot harder to implement. There are going to be times when we meet people who commit actions that we consider unforgivable, such as Natsu’s resentment for his father, Endeavor, for how abusive he was in the past. We know that Endeavor’s trying to change for the better, yet Natsu refuses to give him a second chance. So what happens then? What happens to someone who remains unforgiven despite everything they try to do to make things right? That’s what this episode of My Hero Academia tackles.
If you folks will recall, the first time that Luffy fought Kaido, he didn’t leave a scratch on him and got thrown in Udon Prison. However, this led Luffy to discover that he can level up his Haki to let him hurt foes without even touching them. He trained his butt off to learn how to use his Haki like that, and it looks like it paid off. But it’s only now that we see the true extent of his power! Luffy finally takes his Haki to the next level, and it is glorious!
One Piece Chapter 1009 Review/Recap I’ve been reading One Piece for years now, and I’ve watched the anime since the days of the infamous 4Kids dub. And if there’s one recurring theme to the … Continue Reading Big Mom and Orochi Get Sent to Hell (Hopefully)
You know that famous line from The Incredible Hulk TV series starring Bill Bixby? “Don’t make me angry. You won’t like me when I’m angry.” That line can be applied to anyone who’s mad. And if there’s one thing that will make the Straw Pirates mad, it’s messing with their friends and crewmates. Case in point: Nico Robin’s going to demolish the spider-lady who captured Sanji. This should be fun.
For those of you who enjoy One Piece for the sheer amount of action that it has, then you’re going to love this chapter. It’s nothing but action and fight scenes in what could end up being the most epic fights in shonen history. On one side, we have the Yonko, Kaido and Big Mom. Their opponents, from the New Generation of Pirates: Luffy, Zoro, Killer, Kid, and Law! Can our underdogs take down the monstrous Yonko before they destroy Wano? I don’t know, but I’m going to love seeing this!
At long last, the fight we’ve been waiting for is about to begin. It’s the Supernovas vs the Yonko in the smackdown of the century! LET’S GET IT ON, PEOPLE!!
