Have you ever looked at two shows and thought that they would work great together? Whether its the premise or the characters they have, you just think these two shows would go together like peanut butter and jelly. However, that dream PB&J crossover sandwich can never happen for one reason or another. Fortunately, the power of fandom’s and the Internet can change that. For my next fan fiction pick, this is one such case where we get the sandwich. Only the peanut butter and jelly’s made from two bright stars.
I knew going into the second half of Steven Universe Future that things were going to get dark. However, after watching last night’s new episodes, I found myself in a state of shock. I swear I could feel my mouth hanging open for a minute or two as I processed what I witnessed. The epilogue series has already given us many dark moments, or at least reflected on them. The penultimate episodes before the series finale, though, may be the darkest the series has ever done.
When it looks like Stevonnie may be in jeporady, Steven does something impulsive to save his bond with Connie. And it leaves him more hurt than ever.
After a three month break, Steven Universe is back for it’s final round of episodes. And as the first half of this epilogue established, there’s a lot of unfinished business, especially with regards to Steven himself. He needs help, but has no idea how to communicate that. This week, though, he seemed to take a few steps closer to that goal while also wrapping up the secondary characters plots.
Well, folks, we’re almost at the end of this long, musical road that is Steven Universe. With the final ten episodes of Steven Universe Future coming out in March, I wanted to look at the new trailer and give my thoughts on what may happen.
We’ve seen Steven struggle with the change in his life in Steven Universe Future. In the final episode of the year, things start to come to a head.

I’ve seen a few cartoons get the musical treatment in the past. Shoot, Spongebob Squarepants got a Broadway musical, and I didn’t even know! Of all the cartoons I’ve seen, though, I don’t think any would be better suited for Broadway than Steven Universe. Steven Universe: The Movie convinced me of tha.
