Even though the middle part of the season stumbled a bit, The Mandalorian manages to find redemption in its season finale. And a lot of action.
After episodes of being hunted down by other bounty hunters, Karga reaches out to Mando with a peace offering: help get rid of the Stormtroopers, and they’ll be square. Since this is an obvious trap, Mando brings some backup.
This may be the most fanservice based episode of the Mandalorian yet. Mando helps break a criminal out of a New Republic prison ship with help from some jerks.

Ever since Disney bought Lucasfilms, and with it, Star Wars, I’ve kept a skeptical eye on where the company takes the franchise. Then they axed the Expanded Universe and thirty plus years of extra content that they’ve yet to make up for. They may have given us Thrawn back, but I won’t be satisfied until I see the return of Revan! However, I think Disney’s starting to step up, and a big example would be the new show, The Mandalorian.
