The Edens Zero crew faces off against the toughest enemy stand yet, Tears Lover! Actually, it’s just Ether Gear, but it reminds me of JJBA.
One of the trademarks of Hiro Mashima’s work is his tendency to reuse the things he likes. Whether its a character design, a name, or concept, if he likes it, he’ll reuse it. The reason I’m discussing this is because the latest chapter of Edens Zero brings a certain group from Fairy Tail: the Element 4.
With their adventure on Sun Jewel behind them, the crew of the Edens Zero seems stronger than ever. Homura’s now taken Valkyrie’s role as the Sword of Eden, and Rebecca finally has her Ether Gear. However, events in this chapter seem to indicate a dark future. One that only Rebecca may be able to stop.
The battle for Sun Jewel’s over, and the Scarlet Women’s been sent to a fate worse than death. Even though Sun Jewel’s free, victory’s soured by the knowledge of Valkyrie’s death. Now Shiki must break the news of Valkyrie’s death. If anyone still doubts it now, I think this chapter proves for good that machines have hearts.
After witnessing her callous reign over Sun Jewel, Kurenai’s been defeated by Shiki. Instead of killing her, Shiki brings her to her daughter, Homura, like he said he would. Having lost so much because of her mother, Homura realizes that she never needed her mother. What she needed was someone to love.
Edens Zero Chapter 66 Review/Recap When I heard what the planet Sun Jewel was like, I knew Edens Zero was in for a fight. In the end, I was right: … Continue Reading Gravity’s Gonna Crush You
Edens Zero Chapter 64 Review/Recap For the last several arcs of Edens Zero, the manga’s been hinting that Rebecca would get her own Ether Gear. This chapter sees that plot … Continue Reading Rebecca the Leaper
The new chapter of Edens Zero is up on my blog. Its all about what it means to carry one’s will, even when others mock you for it.
In this chapter of Edens Zero, Arsenal, AKA Weisz, come face to face with one of Kurenai’s cronies!
After learning of Valkyrie’s death, Homura was completely broken by the fact that never see her mentor again. Outraged, Shiki decides to take matters into his own hands. He launches a one man assault on Kurenai’s headquarters, determined to bring the woman to her daughter.
Right when it seems like the entire crew of Edens Zero will reunite, tragedy strikes in the latest chapter of the manga.
I know I do Edens Zero every week on my blog, but for some reason I was feeling lazy last week. So rather than do two separate blogs, this time I’m just going to do the two latest chapters together. Besides, they weren’t that long, so I can get away with it. In these two chapters, the conflict with the Scarlet Woman Kurenai escalates to open hostilities.
In the last chapter of Edens Zero, Rebecca was subjected to a humiliating prank by Labilia with the false promise of getting her to the slums to save Shiki and Homura. In the end, they did get the help of fellow B-Cuber, Nino. Meanwhile, Shiki fires the opening shots on a war against the Scarlet Woman’s rule when he defies her enforcer Garret to rescue Homura.
Edens Zero Chapter 53 Review/Recap When we last left off, snobby B-Cuber Labilia approached Rebecca with an offer she couldn’t refuse. In exchange for a favor, she’ll help Rebecca rescue … Continue Reading Anime Will Save Shiki and Homura!
The last chapter we saw Shiki and Homura get arrested by the Scarlet Woman and her enforcers and sent to the slums to work off a ludicrous debt. It doesn’t take them long to pick trouble with one of her enforcers, Whip Punisher Garret. Let’s see how this goes.
In the last chapter, the Edens Zero gained an unexpected new guest in the form of the mysterious Captain Conner. Thanks to his incredible flying skills, they got to Sun Jewel in less than a day. That’s all well and good, but considering its reputation as the space version of Las Vegas, I’m concerned. I’m almost sure that Sun Jewel has a dark side to it.
