Well, it looks my predictions from the last few posts are turning out to be accurate. Shiki and his crew are about to get involved in a three way war on Foresta. The crew of Edens Zero vs. Emperor Nero’s team of purgers vs. the machines that Ziggy drove crazy. And judging by how this chapter ends, it’s going to be a tough fight.
In the last chapter of Edens Zero, we got an exposition dump on how to find Mother: gather Relics that have her Ether, and it will lead the way. Which brings us to Shiki’s next stop, the planet Foresta. A planet that it seems Ziggy already made a mess of. This week, we see just what he did to the planet. And to be honest, it’s nothing like what I imagined. They’re in the doghouse now!
Our adventures on the planet Red Cave came to an end last week, but we learned a lot of new info. There are relics scattered across the universe that are filled with Mother’s Ether. Collect the Ether, and it can lead the way to Mother. It’s simple on paper, but nothing ever goes that simple in a story. Also, remember how I said that Shiki may end up angering Nero, the ruler of the Aoi Cosmos? I fear that we may be building up to just that.
Well, it looks like the Red Cave Arc is over now. No big enemy to fight, just a major revelation about Mother and what kind of effect that she has on the universe. Also, remember how last chapter, I guessed that Andrew somehow got his hands on the treasure of Red Cave before he died? Called it!
I’m not sure if you guys know this about me, but I’m a big supporter of the idea of love conquering all. It doesn’t matter if it’s nationalities, gender differences, or (in the case of fiction) different species. Love is love, no matter what. So when Hiro Mashima wants to throw something like a robot being in love with a human, I won’t judge. Because as it turns out, that’s exactly what happened in the new chapter of Edens Zero.
Firstly, I’m sorry that this post is late, but the website that updates the chapters was slow this week. Secondly, when I heard that the planet of Red Cave was supposed to be a fire planet, I called it ironic due to its abundance of water. However, I know that Mashima was just messing with us. That he’d show us why Red Cave’s a fire planet. And as we watch Shiki and the others face their biggest hurdle yet, we see that this was an accurate classification.
Last week, the heroes of Edens Zero spent their first day on the planet of Red Cave with a good old-fashioned beach day. However, that soon got interrupted by the sight of a space pod crashing into the ocean. One trip to the bottom of the sea later, and they find the pilot of said pod to be long dead. However, what’s even stranger is the fact that there’s an entire city underwater! How did this city get here? What connection does it have to Mother? And who is this Nadia person that’s referenced in the title of this chapter? At least one of those questions gets answered in this new chapter of Edens Zero.
The heroes of Edens Zero hit the beaches of Red Cave in their first stop in the Aoi Cosmos. But once they get there, they discover something amazing under the sea.
Well, folks, it’s been a long time coming, but at last, the crew of Edens Zero is leaving Sakura Cosmos behind. Beyond them layers Outer Space, untold adventures, and most importantly, Mother. With Joe defeated and the Shining Stars assembled, the Edens Zero is ready for the last obstacle between them and Outer Space: Dragonfall! It’s going to take help from everyone if they want to get through the home of the dragons, but they’ve come too far now to lose. Dragonfall will be the start of their next journey!
Thanks to the intervention of Elsie Crimson, Ziggy and the Edens One have retreated. That’s small comfort to Shiki and the Shining Stars. They now have to accept the fact that Shiki’s adopted grandpa’s now his worst enemy. However, what could have brought about this change following his resurrection? In this chapter, Elsie Crimson gives us some clues and explains her past with Ziggy.
All right, I will be the first to admit that I may be wrong. Ziggy’s face-heel turn may be genuine and not just an act to see if Shiki’s ready to make the journey to see Mother. It doesn’t matter, though. What matters now is that Ziggy’s trying to destroy Edens Zero. This chapter pits Zero against One in a clash of the Cosmos!
Shiki’s grandpa Ziggy came back to life, only to attack Shiki and the others. Then he claims that he no longer sees organics as worth being friends with. And with the newly arrived Edens One, he plans to conquer the cosmos and have machines rule over all. And I don’t buy it for a second! I don’t think Ziggy is evil, but only time will tell.
Well, people, we knew that this chapter was going to be a very emotional one. Have some tissues ready, just in case, because Shiki is going to need them before we’re done.
As the manga reaches its 100th chapter, the heroes head off on their new quest. Meanwhile, we get our first look at the Edens One. It looks like a fish.
Edens Zero Chapter 99 Review/Recap It feels like it was only yesterday that Edens Zero began. Now here we are, on the cusp of a hundred chapters, and an anime … Continue Reading To a New Adventure! But Where’s Connor?
I cannot tell you how excited I am about this piece of news. I’ve been reading Edens Zero from the beginning, and I knew that it was perfect anime material. Given how successful the adaptation for Fairy Tail was, it would make less sense to not adapt it!
