Last week, we saw The Mandalorian begin its sophomore season with as big a bang as possible. There were explosions, Tusken Raiders, a giant Krayt Dragon, and the return of … Continue Reading This week on ‘The Mandalorian’: SPIDERS!
The major theme to the third season of the reboot of DuckTales! has been the idea of legacy. Since the start, Huey, Dewey, and Louie have been following in the legacy of those that came before them: Scrooge, Donald, Della, and many others. And without even realizing it, they’ve become incredibly badass as a result of all their adventures. As the race against F.O.W.L. is on in this episode, we get to see just how far the Duck Boys have come, and I love it!
DuckTales! Season 3, Darkwing Duck Special Review Last year, I said that the debut of the DuckTales! reboot’s version of Darkwing Duck could end up leading to a reboot/spin-off. Then … Continue Reading “Let’s Get Dangerous” Opens Door to Darkwing Duck
Ahh, the Fountain of Youth; that mythical wellspring of water that’s said to restore the youth of those who drink it, granting nigh immortality. As such, it’s easily one of the most popular tropes found in adventure stories, and a perfect fit for the likes of DuckTales! Especially when you have the likes of Scrooge and Goldie and their love/hate relationship in play in this week’s episode.
Ahh, Halloween. Next to Christmas, it’s the holiday that people in America get into the most, especially when it comes to TV shows. With Halloween specials all but an unspoken tradition, it was only a matter of time before the reboot of DuckTales! did one themselves. And while it won’t make into my list of memorable Halloween episodes, it was still plenty entertaining. But hey, that’s DuckTales!
More than a year after we last saw her, Penny the Moonlander returns in the new episode of DuckTales! And so does Glomgold!
Star Wars: The Mandalorian Returns October 30th. After the year we’ve had, you have no idea how relieved I am to have seen this: The Mandalorian, the show that gave … Continue Reading This is the Way
Remember everything that happened last episode? Eda succumbed to her curse and got captured by Lilith. We got the first appearance of the show’s apparent antagonist, Emperor Belos. And top it all off, we learned Lilith cursed Eda as kids. Everything had led to Luz hitting rock-bottom, but we all knew that she wasn’t going to let Belos win. As a result, we got to see Luz come into her own as a witch this episode. This marks the rise of the Good Witch Luz.
As the world mourns the loss of Chadwick Boseman, I reflect on his impact and how he had the strength to keep being an actor even while he was fighting cancer.
It feels surreal knowing that it’s been five years since Phineas and Ferb took a bow, and now here we are. Now the show’s back, and with a new movie on Disney+, no less! It’s everything that Dan and Swampy promised. In all honesty, it feels like the show never left.

So, I went ahead and watched the new episode of The Owl House on the DisneyNOW App on my phone hours before it would air on TV. I’m glad that I did, because I would need the extra time to process what I just saw. Heck, I’m still trying to process everything! But that’s not going to stop me from writing a review of what may be the biggest episode thus far. If you haven’t seen it yet, then turn back now, because this will be filled with spoilers. Spoilers, and tears, because this episode gets very sad as a witch loses a teacher.
The Owl House, Episode 17 Review I know it’s only been seven months since The Owl House first premiered on Disney Channel, but thanks to how the world is, it … Continue Reading Owl House Sports Episode
We’ve known since the start that when Anne got zapped to Amphibia, her friends Sasha and Marcy went along with her. We learned almost at the start that Sasha was with the Toads, but Marcy? Her whereabouts remained unknown, and led to a lot of fan theories and ideas. Then the Season Two trailer rolled along, confirming that the two would meet. Now, at last, that moment is here: Anne and the Plantars are in Newtopia! Does it live up to the hype, though, and is Marcy as good a character as we hoped? The short answer is: yes and yes.
