For weeks now, Polly has been trying to figure out how to fix Frobo, and finally manages to have a breakthrough. Then, the assassin frobot ups its game, forcing Anne to tell all.
Continuing with our recap of Amphibia, season two saw the show leave the confines of Frog Valley and show us the world of Amphibia at large. As Anne and the Plantar’s look for a way to get her home, they embark on adventures that they can’t even begin to imagine…and heartbreak that will haunt them forever…
With the third season of Amphibia upon us, we look back on the story thus far. This is the legend of Amphibia and its heroes and villains.
In the season finale to Amphibia, Anne and the others are finally able to return home. However, when Sasha and Grime reveal their plans, a series of revelations shatters the world of Amphibia like never before as things are changed forever.
Okay, I’ve been saying this for close to a year now, but I need the soundtrack for Amphibia on ITunes! And I need it now, because this show’s got some crazy awesome beats to it. But before I go all fanboy, it’s important to note that this is the penultimate episode to the second season of Amphibia. On the surface, it may look like another light-hearted episode. However, when you remember the fact that the season finale will likely see Sasha turn on Anne once more, possibly even Marcy, then it makes this episode all the more heartbreaking. It’s the final moments that Anne, Sasha, and Marcy will likely have as friends for a long time before things get really, really dark.
You know what I consider to be one of the staples to a great show? Is it the plot; the music; the action and drama? All of these are considered, but one factor that I feel gets overlooked is the relationships between characters. As a show progresses, we expect to new dynamics in the relationships between the characters as they grow and change. And in this week’s episode of Amphibia, two relationships that have not gotten much focus take center-stage in two delightful episodes.
If you guys haven’t seen the new season of Amphibia yet, then you’re missing out on quality TV right now. It’s not like we can do much this summer, anyway. Having hit the ground running last week, the show maintains its momentum with meme-worthy faces. Not to mention, we see Anne doing what I’m now dubbing as “The Anne Dance.” If that blows up on Social Media, I coined it!
We’ve waited nearly a year for it to come back. And while it was touch and go for a bit thanks to COVID-19, I’m happy to say that Amphibia’s here with a new season. If you guys saw my post on the season two trailer, then you know just how hyped I’ve been for Season Two. The Plantar’s are traveling beyond the valley in the journey of a lifetime. There’s gonna be danger, mystery, and more to be found. So without further ado, let’s begin the review.
I’m going to keep this introduction brief as I want to dive right into the season one finale of Amphibia. The opening season saw Anne grow from being an outcast into Wartwood’s protector and hero. The reunion of Anne and Sasha, though, will be one of the toughest moments of the girl’s life.
Anne’s journey in Amphibia is about to take a drastic turn in this episode as she becomes Frog of the Year. First, though, a scary story!
