Amphibia Season 2 Episode 13 Cover

Trust is a Two-Way Street, People! Remember That!

Trust. It’s one of the most things that a person can learn about in life. We need learn to trust in others, or else we won’t get far in life. Why am I bringing this up in a review about Amphibia? Because trust and honesty is the underlying theme behind this week’s episode. Keep reading some more, and you’ll see what I mean.

Amphibia Season 2 Episode 13-Night Drivers and Return to Wartwood

Back to Wartwood and More Amphibia

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE DROUGHT’S OVER! After a months-long vacation, Amphibia officially returns for the second half of Season Two. And given the trailer that Disney dropped on YouTube, Matt Braly’s team has big plans for the show. Legend of Zelda-esque temples; ancient puzzles and prophecies; even greater mysteries to solve. I am beyond pumped for what’s to come. Before any of that can happen, though, it’s time for Anne and the Plantars to return to Wartwood in the season 2 opener. Which, for some reason, dropped on Disney Channel Africa already, then got leaked onto the Internet. It’s like that one episode of The Owl House from months ago, but I can’t complain.

Amphibia Season 2 Episode 6-Reunion

Marcy Wu is Here and I Love Her Already!

We’ve known since the start that when Anne got zapped to Amphibia, her friends Sasha and Marcy went along with her. We learned almost at the start that Sasha was with the Toads, but Marcy? Her whereabouts remained unknown, and led to a lot of fan theories and ideas. Then the Season Two trailer rolled along, confirming that the two would meet. Now, at last, that moment is here: Anne and the Plantars are in Newtopia! Does it live up to the hype, though, and is Marcy as good a character as we hoped? The short answer is: yes and yes.

Amphibia Season 2 Episode 2- The Ballad of Hopediah Plantar and Anne Hunter

I’ve Now Coined the Term “Anne Dance”

If you guys haven’t seen the new season of Amphibia yet, then you’re missing out on quality TV right now. It’s not like we can do much this summer, anyway. Having hit the ground running last week, the show maintains its momentum with meme-worthy faces. Not to mention, we see Anne doing what I’m now dubbing as “The Anne Dance.” If that blows up on Social Media, I coined it!
