It’s Like Every Epic Sci-Fi Space Battle Fused Into One!

You know what I love the most about the sci-fi genre? Epic space battles! A grand showdown between fleets that span entire star systems and light up the heavens! From the final battle of Mass Effect 3 to the legendary battles of Star Wars, space battles are some of the biggest spectacles one can see in fiction. And now Edens Zero is about to have what will hopefully be the first of many epic space battles. It’s Galactica vs. Interstelar in the space above Nero 66!

Luffy Ascends to the Next Level of Haki!

If you folks will recall, the first time that Luffy fought Kaido, he didn’t leave a scratch on him and got thrown in Udon Prison. However, this led Luffy to discover that he can level up his Haki to let him hurt foes without even touching them. He trained his butt off to learn how to use his Haki like that, and it looks like it paid off. But it’s only now that we see the true extent of his power! Luffy finally takes his Haki to the next level, and it is glorious!

My Hero Academia Season 5 Episode 3-Joint Training Arc Begins

Clash of the Hero Courses! The Joint Training Arc Begins

I’ll be honest with you guys going in. The Joint Training Arc of My Hero Academia wasn’t among my favorite parts of the story. Don’t get me wrong: I understand how important it is to showcasing the growth of all the heroes. However, I feel like they keep repeating this scenario more than necessary. Well, at least I know I’m in for some real enteretainment. Plus, we see the return of an aspiring hero.

Big Mom and Orochi Get Sent to Hell (Hopefully)

One Piece Chapter 1009 Review/Recap I’ve been reading One Piece for years now, and I’ve watched the anime since the days of the infamous 4Kids dub. And if there’s one recurring theme to the … Continue Reading Big Mom and Orochi Get Sent to Hell (Hopefully)

My Hero Academia S5 Episode 2-Vestiges

Vestiges of the Past Come Back to Haunt Heroes

Okay, so the first episode of the new season of My Hero Academia may have been lackluster. However, now that the obligatory introduction’s done with, we’re finally getting to the good stuff. This episode sees the vestiges of the past come back to haunt the present day as we dive deep into the origin of One for All. And we also see just how bad of a parent Endeavor really was.

My Hero Academia S5 Episode 1-Heroes, Move Out

Welcome Back, Heroes! Class is in Session!

It’s been more than a year since the end of the last season of My Hero Academia. From the perspective of 2020, though, it might as well be a lifetime. Thankfully, the vaccines are rolling out, which means that we can slowly start returning to a new normal. And the arrival of spring brings MHA’s fifth season! And while I may be writing more now than I was at this time last year, I can’t resist wanting to get in on the anime. Granted, I will simply be reviewing rather than recapping like I did last year in order to conserve time, so it balances out in the end. However, with that out of the way, we can dive into the season premiere. How was it, you may ask?

Judgement Day is coming, and it’s coming for Aoi Cosmos!

You guys ever seen the Terminator films before? In that franchise, an AI the military created becomes sentient and, due to its lack of morals, turns on humanity. The end result is Judgement Day, an event in which the evil AI takes out a good chunk of humanity. Why am I bringing this whole thing up here? Because that’s about happen in Edens Zero, but in reverse. This time, Judgement Day is coming for the machines!

The Time Witch Sounds Like a Cool Title

So, I think that we can all agree that, whatever Mashima has planned for Edens Zero, Rebecca’s going to be a big part of it. Time and again, we’ve seen how powerful her ability to manipulate time can be. A power that she’s only started to scratch the surface of, at that! The path forward is obvious: if Rebecca wants to keep up with everyone, she’ll need to master her time Ether. She’ll need to become a Time Witch.

Mashima’s Girls are Badass

I know that a lot can be said about the girls in Hiro Mashima’s manga. That they’re overly-attractive. He uses them for a lot of fan service. However, when you look past the excess fan service, you’ll notice that most of the girls Mashima creates have one thing in common. When things hit the fan, they become incredibly badass!

Andrew’s Last Gift to Nadia

Well, it looks like the Red Cave Arc is over now. No big enemy to fight, just a major revelation about Mother and what kind of effect that she has on the universe. Also, remember how last chapter, I guessed that Andrew somehow got his hands on the treasure of Red Cave before he died? Called it!

Sword Art Online: Alicization- War of Underworld Episode 46- Alice

Alice, Welcome to Earth

So, it turns out that I was wrong about episode count for Aliczation. There are only 47 episodes, not 48. In other words, next week’s episode is going to be the finale for the season. And unless they adapt that Unital Ring Arc, the end of Sword Art Online. Thus, these last two episodes are an epilogue to welcome Alice to the real world. And, we see the Black Swordman come home at last.

Sword Art Online: Alicization- War of Underworld Episode 45- Important Scenes

Tying Up Loose Ends

Well, everyone, we are in the endgame for Sword Art Online: Alicization. And possibly Sword Art Online itself, if they decide not to adapt the new arc from the Light Novels. Gabriel’s been defeated and Alice is safe in the hands of RATH, but the danger’s still not over. After all, Gabriel’s flunkies are still aboard the Ocean Turtle and need to be taken care of. As a result, this episode is basically about tying up the loose ends before we get to the epilogue.

Nadia, Love of My Life

Last week, the heroes of Edens Zero spent their first day on the planet of Red Cave with a good old-fashioned beach day. However, that soon got interrupted by the sight of a space pod crashing into the ocean. One trip to the bottom of the sea later, and they find the pilot of said pod to be long dead. However, what’s even stranger is the fact that there’s an entire city underwater! How did this city get here? What connection does it have to Mother? And who is this Nadia person that’s referenced in the title of this chapter? At least one of those questions gets answered in this new chapter of Edens Zero.
