We’ve waited nearly a year for it to come back. And while it was touch and go for a bit thanks to COVID-19, I’m happy to say that Amphibia’s here with a new season. If you guys saw my post on the season two trailer, then you know just how hyped I’ve been for Season Two. The Plantar’s are traveling beyond the valley in the journey of a lifetime. There’s gonna be danger, mystery, and more to be found. So without further ado, let’s begin the review.
Even with how rotten 2020’s been, It’s nice to know that there’s still things that I can honestly look forward to. And considering how this week’s going to have the premiere of a show I know I’ll love and the return of two shows I already love, I am one happy camper. Earlier today, Disney released teasers showing what’s next for its shows Amphibia, Big City Greens, and The Owl House. And I knew that I just had to come here and gush about them.
At long last, we’ve got confirmation, people. After months of rumors and speculation, Disney offically confirmed the release of new episodes of The Owl House and Amphibia. Starting Saturday, July … Continue Reading Amphibia and Owl House Return in Late Night Power-Hour!
Okay, people, on this day one year ago, we saw the ending to two awesome shows. One of them was an animated cartoon, while the other was an adaptation of the life’s work of a guy that’s dragging his heels on finishing his work. Rather than talk about the ending to Game of Thrones since there’s enough hate for that, I wanted to talk about the end to the other good show on May 19th, 2019.
I don’t remember where I read it, but a big theme to the third season of DuckTales is legacy. Huey, Dewey, and Louie are starting to realize that, for better or worse, Scrooge will have to pass the torch down to them one day. While that is awesome, it makes wonder if they’re capable of stepping into Scrooge’s shoes someday. And what prompts this question, you may ask? A trip to Valhalla to fight a world-eating snake in a wrestling match. It’s one of those episodes of DuckTales.
Somber. If I had to describe the final episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, it would be somber. We’ve known for fifteen years how the Clone Wars ends, and we’ve known for five years how it ends for Ashoka and Rex. They escape, Maul escapes, and don’t meet again until Rebels. What I wasn’t expecting was how they all get out of Order 66, and it rivals the best the movies have to offer. Or video games, for that matter.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7, Episode 11 From the moment The Clone Wars started, we knew this moment was coming. With three words, Darth Sidious almost wiped out … Continue Reading Order 66 Shattered Ashoka and Shattered Us
I actually debated on whether or not I should review this episode now or wit for it to premiere in the West. However, I realized that you should never look a gift horse in the mouth and enjoy that we got a new episode of The Owl House. An episode that sees Luz take the next step in her magic training in a good old fashioned magic boot camp.
Ducktales! Season 3, Episode 5 Review When it comes to shows like DuckTales, it can be hard to pick a favorite character. There’s just so much great talent behind the show and … Continue Reading Daisy Duck Shines in New DuckTales!
The second part of the Siege of Mandalore arc may be the best episode of the Clone Wars. Heck, it’s one of the best moments in Star Wars, period!
I may not have liked last week’s episode, but I loved this week’s episode of DuckTales. Mainly, because it touched on an important life lesson in a hilarious fashion. That lesson being the importance of telling the truth, no matter how hard it may be. And, I might add, it does it while referencing some of Disney’s past work.
To quote from Tony Stark, “part of the journey is the end.” Star Wars fans knew going into The Clone Wars what to expect, how this story would end. Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader; the Jedi forced into hiding, and the victory of the Sith. Now, after all these years of waiting, we’re in the final arc of The Clone Wars, the Siege of Mandalore. And by the Force, is it beautiful.
