A running gag throughout the Star fandom is the fact that Marco winds up having a bunch of different girls attracted to him. Thus, he’s the subject to heavy shipping in the fandom. Starco, Jarco, Janco, Markapoo, Kellco, Higgsco! The guy’s like a harem anime protagonist. So, in this next fan-fic, we run with that idea and see how far it can go.
When Gus and Willow tell her of Bonesboro’s annual Covention, where students can learn all about the Covens they can join, she begs Eda to go. They end up going, and we get another piece to the puzzles of Eda’s past and the world of the Boiling Isles.
In what may be the best episode yet in the series, Luz and King are trapped in the Owl House on a rainy day with a mysterious intruder hunting them. Can the two manage to defeat this creature? And will Luz finally use magic?
The last episode of The Owl House taught Luz that she must be patient in learning the art of magic. Now we get to see her relearn that lesson as she sneaks into the Boiling Isles version of Hogwarts.
I’m SO looking forward to blogging and review every last episode of the final season next month. No matter how long it takes
I’ve seen a lot of great stories that revolve around a special Chosen One meant to fulfill an important destiny. I think, from a cultural perspective, they’re meant to make everyone feel special and capable of being a chosen one. However, the last few years of TV seem to be going in the opposite direction, acting like prophecies and chosen one’s are bunk. Now The Owl House is following that route in its second episode. An episode which, I may end, seemed like a step down from the premiere.
In my first series of putting the spotlight on fan fic writers and artists, I give you KPRS4ever, talented fan artist and fanfic writer.
Remember that week of Star vs fan fiction I did a few months ago? There was actually another pick I had that I ultimately chose not to include. However, I’ve decided that this story’s just too good to not talk about. It captures the spirit of the show in writing style and in artwork. Not to mention I’ve become good friends with the author on Twitter. So, time to get a little weird and a little wild when two worlds collide!
So, after months of waiting and building of hype, is The Owl House everything that I wanted? Yes and no, but mostly yes. I know I said this about Amphibia, but The Owl House is also the next Gravity Falls.

So I was browsing through Twitter when I saw Alex Hirsch post this image of this Christian news site warning parents about the Owl House and saying how its teaching kids about witchcraft. So I decided to write about why it’s alright for people to be considered weird in this world.
youtu.be/3WlSRUhpKtc This video highlights what The Owl House is about at its core: how it’s okay to be weird. Even if some people won’t accept it, if you look hard … Continue Reading Embrace Your Weirdness
