My Hero Interlude Ends With This Episode

Well, I think this may be my least favorite episode of the entire season of My Hero Academia. When we left off, Bakugo, Shoto, Camie, and Inasa had to rein in a bunch of problem elementary school students. When words failed to reach them, they resort to humanity’s other, time-honored solution: violence. Or so it looks like: in truth, they’re just trying to reach those kids hearts.

Oh, and Midoriya and Aoyama end up bonding while Bakugo and Endeavor own up to their short-comings.

My Hero Academia, Smoldering Flames

My Hero…Slice of Life?

So, last episode of My Hero Academia saw the end to one of the biggest stories in the anime’s history. Overhaul loses the ability to use his Quirk, and Sir Nighteye died surrounded by All Might, Deku, LeMillion, and everyone else. What could one of the biggest shonen anime on the market do to top such an amazing arc? Apparently start a new one with a slice of life theme.

Bright Future My Hero Academia

A Bright Future

Last episode, we saw Deku give one of the greatest beatdown’s in MHA history. Overhaul’s been defeated at last, and they managed to give Eri a bright future. Yet with Lemillion losing his Quirk and Nighteye at death’s door, it’s a bittersweet victory. Now Deku must deal with one of the hardest parts of being a hero: losing a comrade.
