Who is Messing With Egghead Island?!?

One Piece Chapter 1077 Review/Recap
Alright, this is getting out of hand. I knew that the Straw Hats would be facing long odds once fighting broke out, first dealing with CP0, then the Seraphims. However, I didn’t expect things to get this bad. And they’re about to get even worse, because not only is that spy running around, but one of the Satellites goes down. Whoever’s doing this doesn’t want anyone to leave the island!

Recap

As the workers on Egghead Island take refuge with Sentomaru in the factory, the latter tells them they need to leave while they still can. Recounting the story of Ohara and how the World Government destroyed them for trying to learn the truth of the Void Century, Sentomaru says that now, they’re trying to do the same to Vegapunk. However, the Straw Hats haven’t been able to escape yet.

Meanwhile, Luffy, Zoro, Lucci, and Kaku continue fighting S-Snake and S-Hawk, but their attacks have no effect. It’s only when Zoro mentions how they remind him of King that Shaka puts two and two together: they’re partial clones of the Lunarians. Thus, if they want to win, they need to extinguish the flames on their backs. The others do berate Zoro for not putting the pieces together sooner.

Elsewhere, Nami and Brook struggle to fight against S-Shark. Nami throws everything she has at Jinbei’s clone, but it just shrugs Zeus’ strongest attacks off. Thankfully, she’s saved by an angered Sanji, who decrees anyone who scares Nami will get pounded.

As for Usopp, Franky, and Lilith’s group, they briefly manage to get the upper hand on S-Snake. Using a bubble gun that harnesses the power of the ocean, S-Snake’s knocked down. However, using her kawaii powers, she manages to turn Usopp and Lilith to stone, while also partially hitting Franky.
Amidst all this, Shaka, who left the fight above, arrives in the basement lab, where he discovers Vegapunk and the captured CP agents. Right as he’s about to free them, though, an unknown figure appears…and shoots Shaka right through the head. Everyone can only watch, horrified as the Satellite falls to the ground, unresponsive.

Review
What. The heck. Is going on? I knew the Straw Hats would be in for a tough fight, but this is going worse than I thought. Those Seraphims are tough, and the fact that they have Lunarian genetics isn’t helping matters.
On the one hand, I wanna berate Zoro for not figuring out the Seraphims are part-Lunarian sooner. On the other hand, I’ll be honest: I forgot about the flame part myself. Now that they know about it, though, the Straw Hats and CP0 might be able to beat S-Bear and S-Hawk. As for S-Shark, as much as I would love to see Jinbei fight his own clone, I think Sanji’s got this.

Out of all the Seraphims right now, though, I’d say S-Snake’s the biggest threat. She’s taken down all her opponents save for Franky. The worst part? She did it through the power of her cuteness. Even I think she’s adorable; look at that pouty face!
I did like the bubble gun, though; a clever way of using the sea against a Devil Fruit user that could be useful in the future. Say, against Blackbeard? At any rate, the only one who could beat S-Snake right now is Luffy.
The big problem, though, is who the traitor is. With Shaka down, possibly dead, no one knows where Vegapunk is, and we still don’t know who’s doing all this. However, I do have a theory. Is it just me, or is it weird that we haven’t seen Stussy for a while now? Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t this start right after Stussy got inside the lab? It might be a red herring, but now, I think Stussy might be sus. Regardless, I eagerly await to learn the truth in one week’s time. Oda, don’t put this off any longer!
I Give “You Should’ve Put it Together Sooner!” a 4/5
