Tassji S, U R Awesome

Made by Tassji S, Comet and Marcia's Wedding

Hey, everyone, J here to try something new. Over the last few months, I’ve gotten invested in the fan art community on Tumblr and Instagram. I’ve even started paying commission’s for artwork done by several artists. So to build off of what I did for KPRS4EVER a while back, I decided to make an entire series acknowledging all the great people I know in fandom communities. For today’s post, I wanted to give a big thank you to a talented artist by the name of Tassji S.

Hailing from down under in the country of Australia, Tassji S is known primarily for one thing: genderbends. They make genderbent drawings of various cartoon characters, though they primarily stick to Disney properties. While Tassji S has started to branch out to other shows like The Owl House, their main focus has been on Star vs. The Forces of Evil. Though in their case, it’s Comet vs. The Forces of Evil.

Several things make Tassji S stand out amongst the fanart community. Firstly, they’ve managed to copy the art styles of the shows they draw very accurately. If you were to compare one of his drawings next to a slide from the show, you might not be able to tell the difference if it wasn’t genderbent. Secondly, they develop backstories for all the genderbent characters they make that mirrors their history in the show. That takes a level of dedication. Finally, Tassji’s part of this unofficial group of artists that go by the name of “THE WARRIORS OF TERROR!” It’s a bunch of fan artists on Instagram and Tumblr that work together and collaborate to make amazing fan art.

Thanks for the Art, Tassji S

About a week ago, I saw that Tassji S had spots open for commissions, and since I loved their artwork, I jumped at the chance. There was only one thing that I wanted to them to do, mainly because I’m surprised no one else asked them to do it before. Remember their Comet vs. the Forces of Evil series? I asked them to do one of Comet and Marcia’s (Star and Marco’s counterparts) wedding. The whole thing costed about $75 AUD, but as you can see from above, the results were worth it!

I found Tassji S to be very professional during the whole experience, listening to my feedback and what I wanted them to do. In addition, they were fast; like super fast. They had the entire thing finished, completed, and delivered to me within the span of a few hours. I cannot be any happier with what I got, and it was well worth the price! Their Instagram followers seem to think it’s one of his best works to date, too!

If you’re looking for someone to do incredible artwork that’s worth what you’re paying for, you should try out Tassji S. Here’s some links where you can find them:
