It’s now officially Halloween, and I wanted to save the best for last. Here’s one of my all-time favorite Halloween Specials, all the way from Bikini Bottom, Spongebob Scaredypants!
For my penultimate pick for my first ever month of screams, I chose a show that’s perfect for Halloween. It’s Cartoon Network’s 2000’s classic, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. If you didn’t know, its about two kids, the idiotic Billy and the cynically terrifying Mandy, who win the friendship of the Grim Reaper in a game. The show followed the trio’s supernatural misadventures, and it was a mega-hit for the channel. Of course, it helped that Richard Horvitz and Grey DeLisle voiced the main characters. As a result of its themes, this show’s perfect for Halloween, and Billy and Mandy’s Jacked Up Halloween delivered!
So, in the latest episode of Sword Art Online: Alicization- War of Underworld, we get stuck with more exposition and no action. Good things come to those who wait.
After witnessing her callous reign over Sun Jewel, Kurenai’s been defeated by Shiki. Instead of killing her, Shiki brings her to her daughter, Homura, like he said he would. Having lost so much because of her mother, Homura realizes that she never needed her mother. What she needed was someone to love.
Jay’s Month of Screams, Day 29- Regular Show I made a promise to take a look at every one of the Regular Show Terror Tales of the Park episodes, and … Continue Reading Terror Tales VI in Space!
For today’s choice pick for my month of screams, I’m doing something entirely different. It’s a new show that just came out on YouTube today, and people have been waiting for it for years. Also, it takes place in Hell and has demons beating the snot out of each other, so I thought it’s perfect for Halloween. Come with me to Hell as we check in to the Hazbin Hotel.
In order to do a work study under Sir Nighteye, all Midoriya had to do was get him to laugh. However, it looks like his impersonation of All Might only offended the older fanboy. The meeting of the ultimate All Might fanboys shall commence!
With Halloween nearly upon us, I’m closing in on the last of my picks for the month of screams. Since I’m such a big fan of Regular Show, I’m going to finish my review on the Terror Tales of the Park series, and this next one may be my favorite. It’s got Steve Blum in it!
Normally, I don’t go for horror movies, but this is the one horror movie for those who hate them, The Cabin in the Woods. It basically embraces/calls out everything great/bad about the genre.
One Piece has spent the entire Wano Arc building Oden Kozuki into this lather-than-life legend. How he was the only person to injure Kaido. How he was a member of the Roger and Whitebeard Pirates. Yet the Wano Arc’s entering its climax, and we know so little about the man. Thus, before the final battle for Wano, One Piece gives us its traditional, expository flashback. This is the story of Oden Kozuki.
In the second Halloween episode of Gravity Falls, we step into Gravity Falls one night as we’re stranded outside the Mystery Shack and subjected to Stan’s tales. Tales meant to make us BUY HIS MERCHANDISE!!
I’ve waited to use Gravity Falls for my month of Halloween, and now seems like the best possible time to do so. While the entire series is perfect for a Halloween binge-watching, there are two episodes that are actually Halloween specials. In the first one, the Pines Twins discover the Gravity Falls Tradition of Summerween.
Edens Zero Chapter 66 Review/Recap When I heard what the planet Sun Jewel was like, I knew Edens Zero was in for a fight. In the end, I was right: … Continue Reading Gravity’s Gonna Crush You
In the fourth Terror Tales special, the Park Gang solves one of Regular Show’s greatest mysteries: what’s Muscle Man’s Muscle Mom really like?
This next choice for my month of Halloween specials is an old classic, and one of my personal favorites. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.
After a quiet prologue to show us what’s happened to Underworld, SAO begins to ramp up once more. The war between the Humans and the Dark Territory’s on the horizon, and the latter’s already make the opening salvos. Rulid Village is under attack by the Dark Territory, and the only one who can stop them is Alice? Although, can Alice regain her warrior spirit, though, and what’s happening in the real world?
